Summer Workshop (Impressionsist Portrait, Figure, and Still Life)

I'm looking forward to my weekend workshop on the beach. Here's a few photos of past workshops. I've traditionally run this workshop on the first weekend in June. We always have four beautiful models posing on the beach - hopefully the sun is shining gloriously - for the archetypal Impressionist motif. For the past ten years Connie Myers has hosted the workshop on her beach overlooking the Magothy River, in Annapolis, MD. In case of a sprinkle or two, we can use her huge porch, that overlooks the river, and wraps all the way around her house. Lunchtime is always fun hanging out on the porch and sharing painting stories.

For those just starting out, I also have still life set-ups to pass along the teachings of Henry Hensche, the man I studied with, and without question one of the greatest Impressionists that ever lived. More info can be found on my classes/workshop page. I hope you can join us! Call or email if you have any questions. My cell phone is (410) 533-1803. Happy Painting!
